Elaeocarpus sedentarius

Elaeocarpus sedentarius, commonly known as Minyon quandong,[2] is a species of flowering plant in the family Elaeocarpaceae and is endemic to a restricted area of New South Wales.

It is a medium-sized to large tree with elliptic to egg-shaped leaves, racemes of whitish flowers and more or less spherical blue fruit.

The petals are 5–7 mm (0.20–0.28 in) long, the tip divided into about fifteen linear lobes and there are about twenty-five stamens.

Flowering occurs in spring or summer and the is a fruit blue, more or less spherical drupe 20–35 mm (0.79–1.38 in) in diameter with a sculptured stone.

This tree occurs in brush box ecotone areas and warm temperate rainforests.
