Elahuizen (West Frisian: Ealahuzen) is a small village in De Fryske Marren municipality in the province of Friesland, the Netherlands.
It is located on the banks of the Fluessen [nl] and had a population of around 345 in 2017.
[3] The village was first mentioned in 1412 as Elahuysen, and means "settlement of Ele (person)".
[4] The original settlement was flooded in the Fluessen [nl] around 1700, and only a handful of farms and houses on the dike remained.
