Electoral district of Belmore

Belmore was an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales, created in 1904 in inner Sydney from Sydney-Belmore and parts of the abolished seats of Sydney-Cook and Sydney-Phillip.

[1] It was named after Governor Belmore.

[2] In 1913 it absorbed part of the abolished seat of Pyrmont.

In 1920, with the introduction of proportional representation, it was absorbed into the multi-member electorate of Sydney.
