Maitland, an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales, was created in 1904 returning a single member.
Between 1920 and 1927 it returned three member.
It has returned a single member from 1927 to the present.
Maitland was a new seat comprising parts of the abolished seats of East Maitland and West Maitland.
John Gillies was the Independent member for West Maitland, while James Brunker was the Liberal Reform member for East Maitland.
