Elizabeth Ann Scarborough

Elizabeth Ann Scarborough (born March 23, 1947) is an American writer of science fiction and fantasy and Registered Nurse who lives in Port Townsend, Washington.

She has published over 40 novels, as well as collaborating with Anne McCaffrey on multiple series.

She was earned a RN from Bethany Hospital School of Nursing in 1968.

Her writing career began in 1982 with the publication of her first novel, following which she entered the University of Alaska, earning a BA Magna Cum Laude in 1987.

Scarborough won a Nebula Award in 1989 for her novel The Healer's War.
