Elizabeth Economy

[1] In 1994, Economy completed her PhD in Political Science at the University of Michigan.

[3] She was C.V. Starr Senior Fellow and Director for Asia Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations for over a decade.

[4][2][5] From 2008 to 2014, Economy served as a member and then Vice Chair of the World Economic Forum (WEF)'s Global Agenda Council on the Future of China.

From 2014 to 2016, she served as a member of WEF's Global Agenda Council on the United States.

[6] She is a member of the Aspen Strategy Group[7] and is a participant of the Task Force on U.S.-China Policy convened by Asia Society's Center on U.S.-China Relations.
