Elizabeth Sackville-West, Countess De La Warr

Elizabeth Sackville-West, Countess De La Warr and 1st Baroness Buckhurst (11 August 1795 – 9 January 1870), was a British peeress.

The Countess De La Warr was born Lady Elizabeth Sackville on 11 August 1795.

She was the youngest daughter of John Sackville, 3rd Duke of Dorset, and his wife, the former Arabella Diana Cope.

[1] Her paternal grandparents were Lord John Philip Sackville (second son of 1st Duke of Dorset) and the former Lady Frances Leveson-Gower.

[3] Together, they had ten children, nine of whom lived to maturity, including:[4] Lady De La Warr died on 9 January 1870.
