Elliston is an unincorporated community in Fairplay Township, Greene County, Indiana, United States.

[1] Elliston was named for Mr. Ellis, a pioneer.

[2] A post office was established at Elliston in 1885, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1910.

The bridge is still in active service as part of the Indiana Rail Road's Indianapolis Subdivision.

[4] It is located on the west side of the White River.
