Emiko Nakagawa

Emiko Nakagawa (中川 笑子, Nakagawa Emiko, born 5 August 1941) is a Japanese chess player, six-times Japanese Women's Chess Championship winner (1975, 1976, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008).

From the 1970s to the 2000s Emiko Nakagawa was one of the leading female chess players in Japan.

In 1975 in Melbourne Emiko Nakagawa participated in Women's World Chess Championships Asian Pacific Zonal tournament and ranked in 4th place.
