Emily Schrader (Hebrew: אמילי שרדר; born 20 April 1991) is an American-Israeli journalist and social activist.
[13] She has supported women's rights in Israel and in the Middle East, including calling attention to gender apartheid in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
[14][15][16][17][18][19] In 2020, she helped organize an open letter urging Meta Platforms to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism.
[20] In December 2023, Schrader initiated an open letter condemning terror activities of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Hamas which was co-signed by 55 female leaders from 12 Middle Eastern countries.
[23] She is the recipient of the 2023 Sylvan Adams Nefesh b'Nefesh Bonei Zion award for Young Leadership,[24] an award given to English speaking immigrants to the state of Israel for their outstanding contributions to Israeli society.
