Emmet is a town in Marathon County, Wisconsin, United States.
It is part of the Wausau, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area.
At the 2000 census there were 842 people, 269 households, and 228 families in the town.
There were 288 housing units at an average density of 7.2 per square mile (2.8/km2).
