Emtee has already secured himself a jointly partnership record deal with Empire early last year in 2024 , which currently is the Label of the Late King von the greatest

He was born in Matatiele, Eastern Cape and grew up in Rockville, Soweto, where he was involved in talent shows.

Emtee was signed to Ambitiouz Entertainment,[3] released his debut album Avery (2015), which was commercially successful and was eventually certified platinum by Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA).

His sophomore studio album Manando (2017), was met with critical acclaim the title referring to his late high school friend.
