Enrico Schleiff

Enrico Schleiff (born 17 November 1971) is a German biologist and physicist, and the president of the Goethe University Frankfurt, serving since 1 January 2021.

He then worked as a research assistant at the University of Kiel and at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where he completed his habilitation in cell biology and botany in 2003.

In 2020 he was elected president of the university in succession to Birgitta Wolff.

He was chairman of the board of the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies from 2018 to 2020.
