Epiblema cirsiana

Epiblema cirsiana, the knapweed bell, is a species of moth of the family Tortricidae.

It is found in Great Britain, Fennoscandia, northern Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania.

The forewing has a bright spot at the dorsal edge, which tends to continue forward in the wing like a greyish cross band.

Dissection of the genitalia is necessary to determine Endothenia species with certainty.

The larvae feed on Cirsium palustre and Centaurea nigra.
