Erik Vollebregt

Jan Erik Vollebregt (born 10 December 1954, in Leiden[1]) is a sailor from the Netherlands who represented his native country at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Kingston, Ontario.

[2][3] With twin brother Sjoerd Vollebregt as crew, Vollebregt finished 14th in the Sailing at the 1976 Summer Olympics – Flying Dutchman.

Since in 1980 the Netherlands boycotted the Moscow Olympics, Vollebregt represented[4] his National Olympic Committee under the Dutch NOC flag in the Flying Dutchman.

Again with his brother as crew, he took 7th place.

[5][6] After the 1980 Olympics Vollebregt started a new Olympic Flying Dutchman campaign for the 1984 Olympics with Eddy Huisman but finally failed to qualify.
