Erwin Kalser

Erwin Kalser (22 February 1883 – 26 March 1958) was a German-Jewish[2] stage and film actor, best remembered as the Geneva Convention inspector in Stalag 17.

He did most of his work in American made films.

He launched his career in Munich shortly after the beginning of the century.

[1] He married film writer, Irmgard von Cube, and is the father of Oscar-winning producer Konstantin Kalser.
