[2][3][4] The four genera are Aneulophus Benth., Erythroxylum P.Browne, Nectaropetalum Engl., and Pinacopodium Exell & Mendonça.
The best-known species are the coca plants, including the species Erythroxylum coca, the source of the substance coca.
