Eupyrrhoglossum sagra

Eupyrrhoglossum sagra, the Cuban sphinx, is a moth of the family Sphingidae.

It is known from tropical and subtropical lowlands in Cuba and from Mexico and Belize to Guatemala, Costa Rica, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina and Uruguay.

The head has a low medial crest and the thorax is pale grey, contrasting sharply with the dark brown edges and median line.

Adults are probably on wing year round in the tropics.

Adults have been recorded year round (except March) in Costa Rica.
