Evans is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Columbia County, Georgia, United States.

[6] Evans is located in eastern Columbia County, bordered to the northeast by the Savannah River, which forms the South Carolina state line.

[19][18] As of the 2020 United States census, there were 34,536 people, 11,171 households, and 8,897 families residing in the CDP.

Future plans call for extending the trail further north and east to provide an off-road connection all the way to Savannah Rapids Park, via the existing Evans to Locks Multi-Use Trail.
