Recording sessions took place at The Fun House, The Lotus Pod and The Haunted Cabin Studios.

It is composed of outtakes from the group's tenth studio album, The Tempest, which had been released exactly five months prior.

On March 4, 2024, a visual lyric video for "High Rise" was released.
