On 9 August 2017, Dimitar Dimitrov resigned as manager of the club,[1] with Sergei Klimov being appointed in a caretaker capacity the next day.

[4] On 21 December 2017, Gerard Nus was appointed as the new manager of Irtysh Pavlodar on a two-year contract.

[6] On 10 July 2018, Irtysh Pavlodar announced the return of Dimitar Dimitrov on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
