Ukrainian Premier League club FC Sevastopol was liquidated and a new team was organized instead, registered according to the laws of Russia.

"SKChF" stands for "Sportivny Klub Chernomorskogo Flota" (Russian: Спортивный Клуб Черноморского Флота; "Sport Club of the Black Sea Fleet").
Ahead of the 2022–23 season the club has announced its intention to compete in the Russian Football National League 2.
