Romondini formerly played for AS Roma, Albacete, Pistoiese, Giugliano, Padova, Salernitana, Cavese, Venezia and Spezia.
[1] After serving as assistant to Giuseppe Incocciati at Serie D club Atletico Terme Fiuggi, Romondini was later promoted to head coach for the 2021–22 season.
[2] He then left Fiuggi to accept the head coaching job at Serie D club Tivoli in December 2022,[3] being however sacked in January 2023.
[4] On 10 July 2023, Romondini took on his first head coaching role in professionalism, being appointed in charge of Serie C club Monterosi.
[6] He was called back in charge of Monterosi on 11 December 2023, with the club dead last in the league table,[7] only to be dismissed for a second time just almost two months later, on 5 February 2024.
