Fahraj (Persian: فهرج)[a] is a city in the Central District of Fahraj County, Kerman province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.

[citation needed] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 6,105 in 1,428 households,[10] when it was capital of the former Fahraj District of Bam County.

Fahraj was transferred to the new Central District as the county's capital.
