The Falls–Gefrees railway was a German branch line spur in the Fichtel Mountains region of Upper Franconia in northern Bavaria.
Due to the low numbers of passengers, a DB Class V 60 with four-wheeled coaches sufficed for many years.
Because no-one was prepared to fund this, in 1993 the remaining goods services were also withdrawn and the line dismantled.
Running along the northern edge of the Fichtel Mountains the Lokalbahn branched off from the Ludwig South-North Railway at Falls, 548 m above sea level, towards the northeast.
After an incline of just under 1000 m long the branch line finally reached its terminus at Gefrees at a height of 500 metres above sea level, at kilometre marker 5.3.
