Farshad Bashir (born 14 January 1988 in Kabul) is a Dutch politician of Afghan descent.
As a member of the Socialist Party (Socialistische Partij) he was an MP from 15 January 2008 to 23 March 2017.
After the take-over of the major part of Afghanistan by the Taliban in 1996, he fled with his family to Tajikistan and thereafter to the Netherlands in 1997, where they were granted asylum.
On 10 July 2002, he became a member of the Socialist Party and of its youth organisation ROOD.
