Faysal Shayesteh

Faysal Shayesteh (Dari: فیصل شایسته; born 10 June 1991)[1] is an Afghan professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for I-League club Sreenidi Deccan and the Afghanistan national team.

Born in Kabul, Shayesteh moved to the Netherlands and played in the youth academy of FC Twente, until he signed with Heerenveen in 2010.

[4] In October 2013, Shayesteh made a transfer move to Thailand football club Songkhla United after his contract expired with Etar.

[6] On 19 November 2017, Shayesteh moved to I-League and signed with Gokulam Kerala for a season,[7][8] but appeared in a single match for the side.

[19][20] On 13 April 2014, Shayesteh made his debut for the Afghan national team in a friendly match against Kyrgyzstan.

[24] He is the younger brother of Qays Shayesteh,[25] who also plays football and represented Afghanistan national team from 2011 to 2017.
