It was released on August 19, 2022, the same day as his birthday, through Universal Music Latino,[1] as the sixth single from his fifth studio album Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo Te Pirateamos el Álbum (2022).

Lirically, "Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo" refers, although the singer congratulates himself in the title of the song, its lyrics have nothing to do with the date of his birth.
