Fermín Revueltas Sánchez

Fermín Revueltas Sánchez (July 7, 1901 in Santiago Papasquiaro – September 7, 1935 in Mexico City) was a Mexican painter.

Due to the Mexican Revolution, the father decided that Fermín and his brother Silvestre had to visit school in the United States.

Back in Mexico, Fermín Revueltas visited the open-air painting school in Coyoacán.

He became director of the "José María Velasco" school in Guadalupe, a part of Mexico City, and in 1923 he painted murals at the Escuela Nacional Preparatoria alongside others.

Revueltas participated in several artist groups, amongst others he joined the Stridentism movement, and was member of the ¡30-30!
