Classes were held in all corners of the building, even basement custodial rooms.

[9] The current Ferndale High School was built in 1957-58, and opened in 1959.

[11] Lincoln Junior High housed grades 7 and 8 until it closed in 1976.

[12] The Ferndale Eagles are a member of the Oakland Activities Association.

The school colors are currently brown, white and gold.
