Ferry Fryston is a suburb of the town of Castleford, in the City of Wakefield district, of West Yorkshire, England.

Ferry Fryston was an ancient parish in the wapentake of Osgoldcross in the West Riding of Yorkshire.

The parish also included the hamlets of Water Frystone, Wheldale, and Ferrybridge.

Wakefield Metropolitan District Council approved plans in November 2007 for 150 new dwellings, parkland and public open space.

The areas of both collieries have been subject to land remediation work.
