Finland–Latvia relations

Both countries are full members of the COE, CBSS, NB8, EU, NATO and Eurozone.

In 1999, the President of Latvia visited Finland.

Finland pledged its support for Latvia to join the European Union.

[2] Finland and Latvia co-hosted the men's 2023 Ice hockey World Championship and 2025 Men's European Basketball Championship.
