Fiona Mary Ross, CBE (born 23 October 1951) is a British nurse and academic.
[1][2] She later undertook postgraduate research in nursing studies at King's College, London, completing her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in 1987.
Her academic career began as a researcher during her district nurse days, working at St Thomas's Hospital Medical School.
[5] In the 2015 New Year Honours, Ross was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) "for services to nursing".
