Ramdas Kadam (Shiv Sena) Ashok Chavan was sworn in as Chief Minister of Maharashtra for the first time in 2008, after his predecessor, Vilasrao Deshmukh resigned the office in the aftermath of 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks.
