The Flagler Saints are the athletic teams that represent Flagler College, located in St. Augustine, Florida, in intercollegiate sports at the Division II level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), primarily competing in the Peach Belt Conference since the 2009–10 academic year.
Men's sports include baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, and track and field; while women's sports include basketball, cross country, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.
Taylor Mott won the Coach of the Year Award in the Peach Belt Conference 3 times (2009–11).
[6][circular reference] In 2020 the men's tennis team reached the NCAA division II final four falling to Barry University The men's basketball teams competed in the NAIA national tournament three times (2003, 2004 and 2005) and advanced to the second round in the last two trips.
Over the past decade, Flagler Gym has received a number of physical improvements and modifications and equipment upgrades.
"Driz" as he was called, was a star athlete in high school and went on to the University of Florida, where he played freshman football.
He gave tennis lessons at the Ponce de Leon and Alcazar Hotels, was a club champion golfer and was a catcher on the St. Augustine Saints professional baseball team.
