Football at the 2022 South American Games – Women's tournament

The women's tournament of the football at the 2022 South American Games was held from 5 to 11 October 2022 at the Complejo de Fútbol in Luque, Paraguay, a sub-venue outside Asunción.

[1] Hosts and defending champions Paraguay were unable to retain their title after finishing second in their group, which led them to play the bronze medal match which they lost 1–0 to Colombia.

[2] Venezuela won the gold medal and their first South American Games women's football title by beating Uruguay in the final on penalties after a 2–2 draw.

[1] All matches were played at the Complejo de Fútbol courts located within the Parque Olímpico cluster in Luque, Paraguay, owned by the Paraguayan Olympic Committee.
