Forks Township forms the northern, eastern and southern borders of the borough of Forksville.

As of the census[5] of 2000, there were 407 people, 171 households, and 122 families residing in the township.

The racial makeup of the township was 99.51% White, 0.25% Asian, and 0.25% from two or more races.

22.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
