Formula One drivers from Mexico

There have been six Formula One drivers from Mexico who have taken part in races since the championship began in 1950.

He took his second pole position at the same track, one year later, at the 2023 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Moisés Solana attended races in the United States and Mexico throughout the 1960s.

[1] Esteban Gutiérrez drove for Sauber in 2013 and 2014 and after a one-year gap in which he was a Ferrari test driver, came back to drive for Haas F1 Team in 2016.

Sergio Pérez is the most recent Mexican driver, beginning his career in 2011 with Sauber before moving to McLaren in 2013 and then Force India in 2014.
