Fort Duquesne is a historical French former fur trade post.
The following year, on November 15, 1984, the site was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
[2][3] The site is about two miles north of Little Falls, on the west side of the Mississippi River.
[4] Since 2004, the site is part of the Charles A. Lindbergh State Park, as a result of a law passed by the Minnesota Legislature.
Hand-painted bowls, glass beads, and gunflint were all discovered at the site.
