Fox River is a census-designated place (CDP) in Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska, United States.
Fox River is located on the western side of the Kenai Peninsula at 59°50′51″N 150°55′34″W / 59.84750°N 150.92611°W / 59.84750; -150.92611 (59.847372, -150.926178).
Its population resides for the most part in the three Russian Old Believer villages of Voznesenka,[5] Kachemak Selo,[6] and Razdolna.
[7] Most of the remainder of the CDP is inside the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge and has no population.
Fox River first appeared on the 1990 U.S. Census as a census-designated place (CDP).
Fox River has the highest percentage of people of Russian ancestry (80.9%) in the United States.
