Frédéric Descrozaille

Frédéric Descrozaille (French pronunciation: [fʁedeʁik dekʁozaj]; born 16 April 1967) is a French politician who has been serving as a member of the National Assembly from 2017 to 2024, representing the department of Val-de-Marne.

In 2023, Descrozaille announced his candidacy to succeed Aurore Bergé as leader of the Renaissance parliamentary group but and ultimately lost an internal vote against Sylvain Maillard, with 20 against 80 percent.

[4] Descrozaille sponsored a law to ban shops from offering discounts of more than 34%.

The law, which is blamed for fuelling inflation, takes effect from March 2024.
