François-Hyacinthe Choquet

1580–1645) was a Dominican hagiographer and spiritual author in the Spanish Netherlands.

Choquet was born in Lille, in Walloon Flanders, around 1580.

As a young man he was professed as a member of the Dominican Order in Antwerp.

Iñigo de Brizuela, the Archduke Albert's Dominican confessor, sent Choquet to the University of Salamanca to study Theology.

On 28 July 1615 he was awarded a doctorate in Theology from the University of Douai.
