Francis Wentworth-Sheilds

Francis Ernest Wentworth-Sheilds OBE (also spelt Shields; 16 November 1869 – 10 May 1959) was a British civil engineer.

He was educated at St Paul's School in London and Owens College, Manchester.

[3][5] He was appointed to be a Major of the Territorial Army's Engineer and Railway Staff Corps, an unpaid, volunteer unit which provides technical expertise to the British Army, on 28 March 1925.
