Francisco Huerta (footballer)

A product of Colo-Colo youth system, Huerta was loaned to Alianza Lima for the 1988 season after the tragic plane crash that suffered the Peruvian squad on 8 December 1987, alongside his fellows José Letelier, Parcko Quiroz and René Pinto.

[1] After a stint with Cobreandino, where he scored two goals,[2] he returned to Peru and played for Inter San Borja,[3] Ovación Sipesa,[4] with whom he won the 1992 Torneo Zonal [es] and got promotion to the top level,[5] and Cienciano.

He also has worked for the youth ranks of Deportes Temuco and San Antonio Unido as well as the head coach of both.

[8] In 2019 he assumed as the head coach of San Antonio Unido, replacing Freddy Ferragut.

[10] As a player of Alianza Lima, he was nicknamed El Rey de la Huacha (The King of the Nutmeg).
