Frank Le Blond Kloeb

Kloeb (grandson of Francis Celeste Le Blond) was born in Celina, Ohio.

During the First World War, Kloeb enlisted as a seaman in the United States Navy, advanced to quartermaster, third class, and then to ensign, and served from September 1917 to March 1919.

He graduated from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 1917, was admitted to the bar the same year and commenced practice in Celina in April 1919.

He served from March 4, 1933, until August 19, 1937, when he resigned to accept a federal judicial appointment.

He was confirmed by the United States Senate on June 22, 1937, and received his commission on August 20, 1937.
