Frankstown Township, Blair County, Pennsylvania

Unincorporated communities in the township include (from northeast to southwest) Moores Mill, Canoe Creek, Reese, Linds Crossing, Geeseytown, Frankstown, and Sylvan Hills, as well as the east half of Loop.

The Frankstown Branch of the Juniata River flows from southwest to northeast through the center of the township.

Canoe Creek State Park is located in the northeastern part of the township.

[7] Pennsylvania State Game Lands Number 147 is located east of Canoe Creek State Park on Dunning Mountain and a small portion of Pennsylvania State Game Lands Number 166 is located in the eastern part of the township, east of Canoe Creek Park.

[8][9] On December 21, 2012, at Geeseytown, a gunman, identified as 44-year-old Jeffrey Lee Michael, killed two men and a woman.

[10] Harold L. Ickes, U.S. Secretary of the Interior, was born in Frankstown Township in 1874.
