Frederick Holdship Cox (1821[1]-1906) was an English priest and the inaugural Dean of Hobart.
[2] He was born in Walton, Buckinghamshire[3] on 20 April 1821 and educated at Merchant Taylors' School and Pembroke College, Cambridge.
In 1868 he became the Incumbent of St David's Cathedral, Hobart and in 1872, Dean.
[citation needed] He died in Tunbridge Wells on 7 August 1906.
