Freedom Township, Wood County, Ohio

Located in the eastern part of the county, it borders the following townships: The village of Pemberville is located in northern Freedom Township.

[4] The township was named for the American ideal of liberty.

[5] Statewide, other Freedom Townships are located in Henry and Portage counties.

The township is governed by a three-member board of trustees, who are elected in November of odd-numbered years to a four-year term beginning on the following January 1.

The Freedom Township House is located in Pemberville at the intersection of State Route 105 and Water Street.
