Friedrich Johannes Paul Högner (11 July 1897 − 26 March 1981) was a German organist and church musician.
He attended the Gymnasium Carolinum (Ansbach), then the Lehrerseminar [de] in Altdorf and finally studied music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, Erlangen and Leipzig.
At the same time he was musical director at the St. Thomas School, Leipzig and in 1924 he took over the representation of Karl Straube at the conservatory .
There he was organist at the Paulinerkirche[3] and was appointed professor at the Church Music Institute in 1934.
From 1959 he was also professor at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Munich and head of the department for church music.
