Fusitriton magellanicus, common name the waffle whelk, is a species of predatory sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Cymatiidae.

Its sculpture is reticulate (cross-hatched), with nodules at the intersections, most pronounced on the spire and often weaker on the adult body whorl.

The spire may exhibit distinct growth varices, though these can be weak or absent in some cases.

The aperture is large, extending into a moderately long, slightly sinuous siphonal canal.

In living specimens, the surface is covered by a bristly, light brown periostracum, with the bristles being especially conspicuous in juvenile shells and arranged in a spiral pattern.
